One of my endearing memories of Alison was when I was stuck in Kingston Hospital for quite a while, having to endure the not so splendid hospital food and feeling thoroughly miserable. One evening Alison appeared like a Guardian Angel at visiting time. She had brought pizzas! It’ll always stick with me as one of the most amazing meals I’ve ever had. I’m sure she’d have brought me beer if I’d wanted it! That was Alison, kind, thoughtful and always able to make you smile. I’ll miss her. Jonathan xxx
